Police officers arrested a man after finding the body of a 4-year-old boy on a street in Dallas, Texas, authorities said.
Darriynn Brown, 18, was booked into the Dallas County Jail early Sunday on
charges of kidnapping and robbery
, police said.
Investigators believe that additional charges will be brought against him after the forensic analysis has been completed.
Brown is being held on
$ 750,000 bond
, according to jail records.
No details were released about what led to Brown's arrest.

The boy's body
was found with multiple injuries
at 6:50 a.m. Saturday.
His remains were in front of a home located in the 7500 block of Saddleridge Drive, near West Wheatland Road and Mountain Creek Parkway.
Authorities said the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

The hypothesis being handled is that the minor was
killed with "a stabbing weapon"
at 5:00 am, said Albert Martinez, a police officer.
"We are shocked, and very angry about what happened to this very young child," said Martinez, who did not release the child's name but said he apparently lived in the area where his remains were found in southwest Dallas.

Antwainese Square, 39, told the Dallas Morning News that she was the one who alerted authorities after seeing the murdered boy when he went for a run.
He added that the boy's face and torso were bloody, and that he had no shirt or shoes.
"As a mother, this just ... breaks my heart
," Square said.
In mid-afternoon on Saturday, FBI agents conducted a search in a nearby wooded area.
In addition, a group of police officers, mounted on horseback, searched the area.
The area, which neighbors say is popular with cyclists, was cordoned off with police tape.
