In his first report after his tour of Europe, Alberto Fernández assured that he wants to agree with the International Monetary Fund "but the problem is how."
He did so in reference to his request to modify the payment terms (term and rates in the refinancing of the debt).

I want to agree with the IMF as soon as I can
, it is not that we are procrastinating. Many speculate whether it has to be before or after the elections, and that is not what is in discussion for us. Agree with the Fund is necessary, the problem is how, "said Fernández in dialogue with C5N.
In this sense, the president said that the meeting he had with Kristalina Georgieva at the Sofitel hotel in Rome was "very productive".
"I had not been able to meet her personally. It was very productive, it was a two-hour meeting, and I was able to explain where Argentina was," Fernández reported.

Criticism Together for Change
In local matters, Fernandez opposition harshly questioned his stance on the K reform to displace the interim prosecutor, Eduardo Casal.

This record brings the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to a variation of 46.3% compared to April of last year.

Fernández was consulted about the opposition's rejection of the Executive Power project that aims to regulate by law the measures for the management of the pandemic, such as suspending face-to-face classes in epidemiological alert zones.
