The video that Abdelhakim Sefrioui, on file S for his radical positions, had recorded and which had been broadcast on October 11, earned him an indictment for "complicity in terrorist assassination", a heavy qualification that his defense will contest before the chamber of instruction Monday afternoon in Paris.

"It is not possible to blame him for complicity because no link has ever been established between my client and the terrorist (...) he did not know him"

, explained his lawyer Me Elise Arfi.

"At the date of the video, the killer was already aware of the controversy and matured his criminal project,"

The magistrates add:

"All in perfect knowledge of the ideological and criminal context linked to the dissemination and exhibition of religious caricatures and the injunctions of committing murder disseminated by terrorist organizations".
