A 28-year-old woman who was traveling in a stroller with her one-year-old child was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Markt Schwaben.
She was hit by a car and thrown through the air.

- The momentous accident occurred on Sunday, May 16, at around 4 p.m., as reported by the Poingen police.
According to the previous investigations, a 40-year-old Schwabener market drove on Anzinger Straße out of town.
Shortly before the confluence with Höhenrainer Weg, he came off the road to the right in his off-road vehicle for reasons that had not yet been clarified.
Then he drove over the green strip and sidewalk into the confluence area of the Höhenrainer Weg, where a group of people was currently.

While two men and a woman were just able to back away, the 28-year-old, who was traveling in a stroller with her one-year-old child, was hit by the vehicle and thrown through the air.
She was left with a serious injury and was flown to a clinic by rescue helicopter after first aid.
The driver involved in the accident drove back onto the road, stopped briefly and then fled in the direction of Anzing.
Shortly after the traffic accident, a 32-year-old police officer from Erding, who was traveling privately with his wife, became aware of the vehicle involved in the accident.
Due to the unsafe driving style and the damage to the off-road vehicle, he decided to follow it and turned his car around.
He tried unsuccessfully to get the driver of the accident to stop by means of signs.
He was only able to overtake the off-road vehicle at the height of the frog core, stop it and then hand the driver over to the police officers who had already been notified.
Accident driver was drunk
The driver of the accident was found to have been exposed to alcohol.
He was taken to the police station where a blood sample was taken.
His vehicle was towed away as a lane carrier.
An accident analysis report was ordered by the public prosecutor.
The man is now awaiting criminal proceedings for endangering road traffic, negligent bodily harm and unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident.
