An 18-year-old man was indicted for "murder" after the discovery of the naked body of a young woman on Monday in a street of Pontault-Combault (Seine-et-Marne), told AFP the prosecution from Créteil (Val-de-Marne).
Arrested on Friday around 12:30 p.m. at his family home in Asnières-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine), the suspect was remanded in custody, said the prosecution.
Discovered in a street in Pontault-Combault (Seine-et-Marne), the young woman was killed in Plessis-Trévise in Val-de-Marne.
Also 18 years old, the young girl was from Dunkirk where she lived with her mother.
She was killed by strangulation, according to the results of the autopsy.
The facts would have occurred in a "context of prostitution", the suspect being "a client", according to a source familiar with the matter.
The investigation is entrusted to the criminal brigade of the judicial police of Versailles.
