QLED is Samsung's answer to OLED technology and offers a vibrant, contrast-rich image.
It means that behind the screen there is a layer of what is known as "quantum dots" on top of the LED backlight.
This layer allows better control of the brightness levels in each area of the image and thus improves the overall contrast of the image.
It is, in general, a technology that Samsung reserves for its most advanced TV models, therefore, also the most expensive.
Now, however, you can get a QLED screen with 4K resolution with almost 50% discount.
