Ambassadors of Syria, Palestine and Iran, and political and social figures in Russia have strongly condemned the ongoing attacks and crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people.
During a press conference today in Moscow, the three ambassadors spoke about the barbaric and aggressive practices that the Israeli occupation entity has been pursuing for more than seventy years against the countries of the region, its usurpation of Arab lands in Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan and the displacement of its people.
Syria’s ambassador to Russia, Dr. Riyad Haddad, said during the conference today: “What is happening now in occupied Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories exposed the usurper Israeli entity and exposes its racist reality to the whole world and that it violates values and morals with the absolute support of the United States of America.”
Haddad reiterated Syria’s standing by the Palestinian people, their resistance and their just cause as the central issue of the Arabs, pointing out that the world stands once again in front of an important test of its humanity in the face of the brutal acts committed by the Israeli enemy in Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip, pointing to the importance of the solidarity of all the loving peoples of the world. For peace and goodness in order to expose the occupation and its criminal practices.
In turn, Iran's ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, strongly condemned the Zionist attacks and violations in occupied Jerusalem, especially in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the right of worshipers there, and the brutal bombing of the air, sea and land against the residents of the Gaza Strip.
Jalali said that the occupation forces bombed the media building in the Gaza Strip to prevent the international community from viewing Zionist crimes against the Palestinians.
Jalali pointed out that the occupation entity kills innocent civilians, Judaizes Jerusalem, and practices a policy of settlement expansion that is criminalized by international law, which makes it out of law, the will of the international community and United Nations resolutions, pointing to the right of the Palestinian people to struggle for their full legitimate rights.
For his part, the Palestinian ambassador to Russia, Abdul Hafeez Nofal, called on the international community to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop its aggression on the Gaza Strip, criticizing the double standards that the international community adopts regarding the Palestinian issue.
Nofal pointed to the repeated incursions of settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation forces and the attempts of the occupation authorities to displace the people of Sheikh Jarrah from their homes, warning of the consequences of the occupation entity continuing to change the demographic structure and displace Palestinians from their lands.
For his part, the head of the spiritual administration for Muslims in the Asian part of Russia, Mufti Nafeh Allah Ashirov, condemned the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and said that the whole world saw today how the Israeli death machine works in killing the Palestinians.
Ashirov pointed out that the Palestinian people, for decades, have appealed to the international community and its international organizations to realize their legitimate rights stolen from the Israeli occupation, but all of their appeals do not receive any echo.
The head of the Russian Center for Jerusalem, Sergey Baburin, considered that the problem on the table is the problem of justice and freedom, which affects every Russian citizen, and said that Russia cannot be neutral and indifferent to Palestine and the aggression against the Palestinians.
