Citizens of Homs: Participation in the elections is a message of defiance and victory over Syria's enemies

Syrians agree that their participation in the upcoming presidential elections on the twenty-sixth of May is a national duty and a sacred constitutional right that consecrates the unity of the Syrian people, the sovereignty of Syria, and a new political victory, in addition to the military victory that the Syrian Arab Army is brazenly staging in their war against terrorism.

SANA's correspondent in Homs surveyed citizens from their workplaces about their participation in the upcoming presidential elections, as Dr. Firas Gerges Abdullah indicated that participating in the elections is a message of victory and a challenge to everyone who conspired against Syria and is betting on its downfall and a clear and strong response to Syria's enemies that the Syrian people alone have the decision and sovereignty. In shaping the features of his future after defeating terrorism, thanks to his steadfastness and with the support of the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army, calling on people to actively participate and choose the most efficient candidate.

The informant, Nada Yazbek, considered that the national responsibility towards Syria necessitates everyone to participate in this entitlement, as it is the culmination of Syria's victory over terrorism and its supporters and a pivotal point in the Syrian people's determination of their fate after long suffering during the crisis and in appreciation of the sacrifices of the righteous martyrs of Syria, pointing to the need to choose the most appropriate candidate capable of leading Syria to Safety and preservation of her honor and dignity.

The nurse, Yasser Raboo ', said that his participation in the elections is a duty imposed by his conscience and love for his homeland, and an affirmation of Syria's recovery, its victory over terrorism, and its strong return to impose its sovereignty away from any external interference in its internal affairs, expressing his hope to choose the candidate who is able to reconstruct Syria and build what has been destroyed by terrorism.

The nurse, Manar Al-Ayyash, said that holding the elections on time was a response to all foreign attempts to obstruct this constitutional entitlement.

Ammar Ibrahim, the owner of one of the commercial stores, indicated that participation in the elections is a proof of Syria's strength and its victory over terrorism and conspirators, and evidence that the Syrian people are not broken by adversity and will exercise their constitutional right to choose the right candidate.

And from his shop to sell pastries, Ali Hammoud confirmed his participation in the elections to rebuild Syria after its victory over terrorism and in support of the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army, among Walid Deeb, the owner of a ladies' decorating shop, that participation in the elections is an affirmation of the Syrian people’s rejection of any external interference in their affairs and evidence of every citizen’s awareness of their right and constitutional duty.
