Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has sharply criticized US President Joe Biden. “Unfortunately, you are making history with your bloody hands. They forced us to say that, ”Erdoğan said on Monday evening, referring to an allegedly planned US arms sale to Israel. The Washington Post previously reported that the Biden administration recently approved a potential $ 735 million arms sale. There was initially no official information. The "soil of Palestine" was washed with "horror, pain and blood. And you support it, ”said Erdoğan.

Despite international efforts to achieve a ceasefire, the conflict in the Middle East continues.

In many places, calls had recently been made that Biden's government should do more to find a solution to the conflict.

The US government has not yet explicitly joined international calls for a ceasefire.

Addressing Austria, Erdoğan also condemned the raising of the Israeli flag on government buildings in Vienna.

"I curse the Austrian state," said Erdoğan.

"The Austrian state is probably trying to bill the Muslims for the Jews who subjected it to genocide." As a sign of solidarity with the Jewish state in the Gaza conflict, an Israeli flag waved over the Chancellery and the Foreign Ministry on Friday.

Erdoğan spoke out in favor of a "new regulation of Jerusalem".

The city must be "led by a commission" made up of representatives from Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
