Mutual consideration is the keyword: This is the goal of an action by the police together with the city of Bad Tölz, which takes place on Tuesday.

- On Tuesday, May 18, the Bad Tölz police station, in cooperation with the city and its traffic monitoring authorities, is holding a control day with a focus on cyclists.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., cyclists should be made clear, especially in Marktstrasse, Nockhergasse and on the Isar Bridge, that there are traffic bans and the right behavior.
The campaign takes place in connection with a Bavaria-wide focus campaign on "unprotected road users" this month.
These “weak” groups in road traffic include, on the one hand, cyclists themselves - on the other hand, they need to be considerate towards pedestrians.
Against this background, the city has a very positive view of the bicycle inspection day, as Mayor Ingo Mehner emphasizes: The city is currently making great efforts to make Tölz more bicycle-friendly.
The more successful the goal of getting more cyclists out onto the streets, the more mutual consideration is required.
"My appeal goes to all road users to take care of the weaker ones," said Mehner.
