Guan Haojun, 27, was actively preparing for the first HKDSE nine years ago. Suddenly she had a high fever and rashes on her hands and feet. She was ill, but she did not blame others. When she was hospitalized, she even drew the experience of her illness into cartoons, and visualized lupus erythematosus as her comrade-in-arms "Mr. Wolf" to promote positive energy. After taking the Diploma Exam, she finally successfully entered the "Counselling and Psychology" degree program of Shue Yan University in 2016. After 5 years of hard work, she will bid farewell to her university career this month.
Asked about future plans?
She said that she hopes to be hired as a counselor after graduation to help other patients overcome difficulties and become parents' pride.

Lupus erythematosus diagnosed 100 days before the DSE exam
The visit coincided with the month of the HKDSE, and many candidates were actively taking the challenge.
Guan Haojun recalled that systemic lupus erythematosus was diagnosed less than 100 days before the DSE exam in 2012. The cause is unknown, but problems with the autoimmune system can attack different organs of the human body.
The test preparation plan was hit hard, coupled with the large amount of medicine, the person became fat and swollen, and her mood fell to the bottom: "The diagnosis was diagnosed on January 6, 2012, and the mood fell to the bottom. It was warm but not depressed. Good patience, the first time I leave the hospital, I know to face it positively and optimistically!"
In 2012, she was struck by an illness in the Diploma Examination, but her results were not as good as her expectations. When she tried to retake the exam, she suffered from encephalitis due to lupus erythematosus in 2013. He was embolized and re-admitted to the hospital, and finally missed the second diploma exam in 2014.
With the support of his mother, Guan Haojun became more and more courageous. In 2014, he began to draw the experience of illness into comics.

After two failed exams and physical limitations, the nurse's dream was broken. She did not give up, but with the support of her mother, she became more and more courageous. In 2014, she began to draw the illness experience into comics and applied for night school. In 2016, she succeeded in the diploma exam. With a score of "432432" in six subjects, he was admitted to Shue Yan University's "Counselling and Psychology" bachelor's course, determined to join the counseling industry in the future and help other patients get out of psychological barriers.
In 2018, she took the initiative to contact the publishing house and published the picture book "My comrade-in-arms is Mr. Wolf".
However, in 2019, she was diagnosed with a rare disease, Stiff person syndrome (Stiff person syndrome), which affected her mobility and still has to live with a urine bag.
It is very rare to have both lupus erythematosus and stiff person syndrome at the same time. There are only 3 patients in the world temporarily.
Guan Haojun bluntly said that her condition continued to be unstable and her university studies were blocked. She felt disappointed and depressed for a time. She even told her mother about her will for the future. But after calming down, she decided to continue to work hard and live a serious life, and continue to give positive energy with Mr. Wolf's cartoons.
Many people think that she has lost a lot, but she thinks that she has become happier and grateful after the illness. "Thank you for what happened. The experience will deter me."

Strong woman mother gives up her job and takes care of herself

It turned out that her mother was a strong woman in the workplace, but she became a full-time housewife after she fell ill. She took care of her for many years. Even if she lives in Kowloon, as long as Haojun is hospitalized, she will still visit Tuen Mun Hospital every day for encouragement.
After Haojun failed twice in the diploma exam, her mother ignored the pressure of her relatives and friends and supported her to challenge her for the third time. The reaction is bigger than I am, and I am sick, and I can live a wonderful life for the rest of the time!"
One year longer than other students before graduation
The condition is repeated. The average person has been in university for four years. She has been in university for five years. She is about to complete her university career this month. What are the future plans?
She bluntly said that the patient who had met in the hospital has passed away. She wants to seize the time and act as a counselor to assist other patients and their families. "I'm worried, but I'm cooking until I can eat!" She pointed to the laptop and put on herself.
