Taxi theft occurred in Changsha Bay.
At 6 o'clock in the morning today (18th), a male taxi driver in his 60s reportedly parked his car on Baoan Road and went to a nearby public toilet to go to the toilet. During this period, he suspected that the car was not locked. When he turned back, he saw two South Asian Hans. After being ransacked by his taxi, he ran away after snatching a slant bag containing 1,000 yuan in cash.
According to the news, the driver immediately stopped and chased after him. When he reached the junction of Shunning Street and Tokyo Street about 150 meters away, he successfully captured one of the thieves; another thief took away his treasure and fled.
In the chaos, the driver had bruises on his hands and was sent to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment afterwards; the police classified the case as "theft in the car" and took the culprit who had missed it to the police. He is now looking for his party to bring him to justice.
