The participants were required to hand over their mobile phone, ID card and bank card accounts and passwords. After in-depth investigation and intelligence analysis, the police smashed a criminal syndicate in two hotel rooms in Mong Kok last Saturday and this Monday (May 15 and 17). They were suspected of conspiring to defraud and dealing with known or believed crimes. Representing property derived from an indictable crime (commonly known as "money laundering"), arrested 6 men and 4 women, aged between 18 and 61, including 6 syndicate leaders and 4 participants who provided puppet accounts, partly He had a triad background and seized 11 mobile phones, 14 cards provided by different banks, and a laptop computer suspected to be used for online transfer.
