Damascus-Sana
As part of the project "Supporting Youth Cinema", the General Film Organization continues the filming of the short fictional film "Sada Bard" by director Areej Dawara, about a story written by Juhayna al-Awam, whose events revolve around the suffering of Syrian children during the years of the terrorist war.
"The film is the impact of the most vocal sound in the terrorist war on our homeland, it is the impact of loss on the life of a young child who tried to collect parts of his memories and the remnants of the place around him, and he was too strong to remain blown away by memories," the film director said in a statement to the youthful Sanaa.
Regarding the mechanism of her treatment of the human condition in the film, Dawara pointed out that she was in front of a realistic situation that she presented in an appropriate template far from complexity, noting the importance of the project "Supporting Youth Cinema", which provided a great opportunity for the new generation to express their inner selves and discover their hidden cinematic talents.
The film is starring Reem Zeno, Ghadeer Darwish and Cesar Abdelkader.
In 2012, a unit to support young cinema was launched under the Directorate of Film Production Affairs, with the mission of supporting the talents of filmmaking among creative people who did not have the opportunity to learn academically and are not classified in the Artists Syndicate.
