After just two days, one thing was clear: the ice cream factory "Gelateria OK" is revitalizing Marienplatz in Schongau.
Long queues form at the entrance whenever the weather is nice.
All seating on Marienplatz is then occupied.

- It is only regrettable that customers cannot yet enjoy the drinks and ice cream specialties in or in the outside bar area of the ice cream factory.
22 tables with 60 seats are provided in the café, 15 tables and 55 seats outside.
"The entire furnishings such as ice cream, counter, tables and chairs are new," says La Gelateria owner Renato.
The customers know the specialties that Renato and his team have served for years in the former ice cream parlor on Münzstrasse in Schongau - right next to the former office of the Schongauer Nachrichten.
Eismann Flavio conjures up the large selection of ice cream flavors from the new ice cream machine.
With the large number of ice cream sundaes on offer, cold and warm drinks, milk mixes, refreshments, aperitifs and different beers, customers are spoiled for choice.
Everything is served by Chef Renato, wife Marsia and son Renan as well as the employees Diego and Bruna.
The opening times
in “La Gelateria OK” are daily from 9 am to 10 pm.
