At 8 am today (18th), the police received a report from the security that the Chinese medicine clinic on the upper floor of the Hong Kong Health Association, 93 Lai Chi Kok Road, Mong Kok, was burgled and lost about 200 yuan of coins. The police arrived at the scene to investigate.
CCTV footage on the scene showed a male and a female thief breaking in and committing a crime at about 4:30 in the morning.
It is known that this is the third time that the clinic has been stolen in two weeks. On the 6th and 10th of this month, the cabinet and the door were pried open, respectively, and the loss of 60,000 yuan and 10,000 yuan was thereafter.
It is understood that after the second theft, the clinic added a new lock and installed a closed-circuit television, and the door posted a notice saying "There is no silver here": "The shop has many "big guys" who have visited the shop a few days ago. There is no small shop now. The cash is placed indoors." It didn't do much to guard against thieves, and it was still stolen by a blast.
