The Covid-19 crisis has provoked, among some, a rejection of the city.
Living conditions have deteriorated: too high density, too much pollution, noise, housing that is too small or too expensive, limited mobility, not to mention increasing violence.
However, Pierre-André de Chalendar, CEO of Saint-Gobain, a French construction materials giant, does not want to believe in an urban exodus to the countryside.
Already affirming in a book, released in 2015, his determination in the fight against global warming, he is betting more than ever on the “sustainable” city.
