"Counterfeiting is not a trivial offense," said Jens Spahn on Tuesday (May 18) in the newspapers of the

"Anyone who enters false information in a vaccination pass is liable to prosecution - and whoever uses such a passport is liable to prosecution," said the politician.
That should be made clear.
Furthermore, false information should be punished as a favor, which ensures more justice.
Spahn added: "Only those who have really been vaccinated, recovered or tested negative can hardly infect others."

The use of forged documents is to be punished with a prison sentence of up to one year or with a fine.
Anyone who issues documents with false information faces a fine or a prison sentence of up to two years.
This is to prevent doctors from entering false information in vaccination records or issuing corresponding documents as a "courtesy".
In general, not only doctors but also pharmacists should be able to issue vaccination certificates retrospectively.
To do this, you have to ask for an identity card and a vaccination certificate.
As a rule, a subsequent exhibition may only be carried out and checked in close proximity to the vaccination site.
If there are doubts about the authenticity of a corona vaccination pass or the information contained therein, no certificate may be issued.
"If there is a suspicion that incorrect or falsified vaccination documentation is being presented, it is imperative not to issue it," says the draft law.
A media report recently caused a sensation. The planned EU vaccination certificate is not forgery-proof. For Jens Spahn there was sharp criticism. Among other things, FDP parliamentary group leader Michael Theurer shot against the health minister and described the security gap as "scandalous".
