BioNTech stated that the update is based on the latest data, and its formula remains unchanged and can be applied to all current and future batches. BioNTech and Pfizer also submitted relevant temperature update requirements to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. It plans to propose relevant revision requirements to other regulatory agencies around the world.

Cui Junming believes that it is worth referring to whether the relevant updates can be applied to Fubitai injected in Hong Kong.
He said that at present, each delivery of Fubitai to the vaccination center can only transport 1 to 2 days' worth. If the new storage method is applied, each time it can deliver more than 20 days' worth, reducing the number of deliveries.
At present, only Kexing vaccine can be used in private clinics. Cui Junming believes that according to the new storage method, it is possible to consider providing Fubitai to private doctors, but it depends on whether the clinic has enough staff, time to dilute the vaccine, and sufficient space for storage. In particular, many clinics now only have ordinary household refrigerators, but they store more reliable medical refrigerators for Fubitai applications.
Cui Junming believes that the storage period can be extended to 31 days as a reference.
