The Palestinian Ministry of Culture called on the international community to intervene urgently and immediately to stop the continuous Israeli aggression for the ninth day on the besieged Gaza Strip.
In a statement carried by Wafa Agency, the Ministry condemned the Israeli occupation’s targeting of cultural, educational and journalistic institutions and centers during its continuous aggression against the Gaza Strip, stressing that this heinous crime reflects the barbarism and brutality of the occupation in its dealings with the cultural and civilizational capabilities of the Palestinian people and its attempts to obliterate the cultural identity.
The Ministry called on international organizations and international institutions to work to expose the occupation crimes against people, stone and cultural institutions in the Strip and to intervene to stop the occupation practices against Palestinian culture in Gaza and protect the cultural heritage, which is an integral part of the national identity of the Palestinian people.
