“I currently have the problem that my ID.3 is permanently air-conditioned, and I can't turn it off.
The app says that the data is up-to-date, the air conditioning is also off there, but it heats up like a madman (...).

One user had a simple explanation, which he added with a suggested solution: “I think the VW servers are down again.
You have to restart the infotainment in the car and if that doesn't work, pull the fuse. "
But this and various other proposed solutions did not help.
Finally he saw no other way out.
“Tomorrow morning I'll call the dealer directly, he'll hang on to the WB for the time being so I don't have an empty battery tomorrow morning.

Problem with VW ID.3: Signal from a server could be the cause
But that was then superfluous.
Because a day later he writes that the heating has meanwhile gone out by itself.
He suspects that the cause of the dilemma is that “some signal was constantly being sent to the vehicle due to the server problems some of which have reported.” The problem then resolved itself, the app also showed correct values again.
