Yououtubers McFly and Carlito announce the end of filming at the Élysée with Emmanuel Macron

News that fans of the two Youtubers have been waiting for several months. McFly and Carlito announced Tuesday that they had shot a video at the Élysée Palace, after taking up a challenge from Emmanuel Macron launched last February. "

", wrote Raphaël Carlier, alias Carlito, in a message posted on his Twitter account, embellished with a photo where we see the two YouTubers, posing from behind in the courtyard of the Élysée . The date of the upload of the video is however not specified.

The two YouTubers with 6.5 million subscribers responded in February to a "

challenge

" that the President of the Republic had offered them: to make a video on the importance of barrier gestures. The head of state had promised to invite the duo to "

shoot at the Élysée

" and to participate in a "

anecdotes competition

" - the flagship format of the McFly and Carlito channel - with them if they reached the 10 million views. A proposal that had made a lot of noise, some criticizing Emmanuel Macron for taking advantage of the notoriety of the two Youtubers to win the sympathy of young voters.

The challenge had nevertheless been fulfilled in just three days: their video, “

”, a clip in which they invited Internet users to apply barrier gestures to regain their pre-Covid-19 life, had set the Internet on fire. The song has so far received more than 15 million views on the platform.
