President Alberto Fernández asked Argentines on Tuesday "not to lower their arms" because

the country is going through a "very difficult time" as

a result of the coronavirus pandemic, and recalled that "he was not lying" to society when he told him that " there was no other way to preserve oneself that was not staying as far away from each other and at the greatest distance ".

After recalling his exhortation to "avoid transportation and social circulation", Fernández stressed:

"Time is giving me reason."

"In the midst of a pandemic, which hits us and devastates us, today we have had sad news due to the number of infections, and this should lead us to reflection," he emphasized.

And he added: "We have to understand that there are many siren songs that speak of the need to be free and that need to which they invoke leads us to

contagion and death

."
