With
posters, flags and saucepans
, a group of protesters protested in front of Congress against the reform of the Public Prosecutor's Office that promotes Kirchnerism to displace the interim prosecutor
Eduardo Casal
and in the midst of accusations crossed by the candidacy of Daniel Rafecas proposed by President Alberto Fernandez.
The protest takes place on Rivadavia street, between Callao and Riobamba, in front of the Deputies annex.
It occurs on the same day that the ruling party
seeks to obtain an opinion
in committee to discuss the rule in the Lower House.
There are a hundred people who reject the initiative of the ruling party so that from now on, it reaches with a
simple majority
(and not two thirds of the votes) to approve the appointment of the new attorney.
The banners
point
to Cristina Kirchner as responsible for the "judicial reform."
"CFK, you have fed us.
You are setting the country on fire
in order not to go to jail. We are not a little afraid of you", is the inscription of one of the many flags that the protesters wave.
"No to the judicial reform that guarantees
impunity K",
is another motto.
The project even aroused criticism from federal judge Daniel Rafecas, the candidate proposed by Alberto Fernández, who said that if the prosecutor's election system is modified, he will lower his nomination, although the President asked him to review his position.
"Society has mobilized to express its rejection of the impunity law that Kirchnerism wants to enact today," wrote deputy Mario Negri, who
was photographed
with the protesters.
And he concluded: "Behind the modification of the Public Prosecutor's Office law there is the
objective of controlling Justice
. It is very evident!".

In addition, the protesters are
protesting another
official
project
that entered Congress.
This is the initiative that Fernández presented to
shield the restrictions
due to the increase in coronavirus cases, after the controversy over the suspension of face-to-face classes and the setback he received from the Supreme Court of the Nation.
In that sense, the protesters showed signs that said
"No to superpowers"
and "Freedom or Kirchnerism, you choose."

The official project
While the protesters express their repudiation of the reform, within the annex of Deputies the folder that introduces modifications in the Public Prosecutor's Office is discussed in committee.
In case of obtaining an opinion, a quorum will be sought to meet before the end of the month in the Lower House.
Among other points, it is proposed to change the duration of the mandate of the chief prosecutor and his method of election.
Currently, the attorney is Eduardo Casal, appointed on an interim basis in 2017.

Precisely the modality to approve the new attorney provoked the rejection of the same judge Rafecas, candidate promoted by the President.
Rafecas has already warned that he will not accept the candidacy if the changes are sanctioned, which would bring the necessary consensus of the current two-thirds to a simple majority.
Fernández asked him "to reconsider."
The
advance of the Government on Justice
is part of the attempts to displace Casal and place a related person there.
In this sense, Rafecas' proposal generates controversy.
Not only in some sectors of the opposition, but also in the ruling party.

It is that Fernández pointed to Together for Change this Sunday for not giving him the votes to reach the two-thirds necessary to appoint him.
However, from the opposition they came out to clarify that Rafecas' candidacy was preyed upon by the interns between the President and Cristina Kirchner.
"Cristina was stopped by Daniel Rafecas, not Juntos por el Cambio," said Patricia Bullrich, after the President's accusations.
Also Elisa Carrió, since the end of last year, has been remarking that Rafecas "is the candidate of Alberto Fernández, not Cristina."

In that sense, the former deputy asked all political forces on Tuesday for an "institutional gesture without speculation" to reach two-thirds and approve the appointment of Rafecas.
"If we don't, we are on our way to
a regime like Maduro's,
" warned Carrió and the rest of the Civic Coalition.
