Hundreds of people participated in a mass demonstration organized by the Unified Indonesian Student Action Group in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, to condemn the continued Israeli occupation attacks on the Palestinian people.
The Associated Press reported that the demonstrators went towards the heavily guarded US embassy in Jakarta and chanted slogans condemning the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, the continued settlement occupation operations and ethnic cleansing crimes in occupied Jerusalem, and carried banners and Indonesian and Palestinian flags denouncing the strong support of the United States for "Israel".
In turn, Indonesian President Joko Widodo expressed his strong condemnation of the crimes of the Israeli aggression and demanded, in his tweet on Twitter, to stop it.
Many countries of the world are witnessing demonstrations, stances and sit-ins in solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the continuing crimes of the occupation against them.
