The General Union of Palestine Students “Unity of Aleppo” organized today a solidarity stand in the yard of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Aleppo in support of the Palestinian people and condemning the continued aggression of the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip and its continuous attacks in occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the cities and towns of the West Bank.
The participants in the pause carried the Syrian and Palestinian national flags and chanted slogans affirming the support of the Palestinian people and solidarity with them in light of the barbaric aggression and brutal practices against them by the occupation authorities.
In statements to SANA correspondent, Nidal Hawwash, Secretary of the Unity, confirmed that the stand is a message of support and support for the Palestinian people, with the aim of confirming standing by them.
Maher Al-Khatib, representative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in the Union, pointed out the brutal attacks that Palestinians are subjected to in the occupied city of Jerusalem, especially in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, in an attempt to displace its people from their homes, pointing out that today's event is an emphasis on standing by the Palestinian people.
Student Nayef Fayyad from the General Union of Palestinian Students pointed out that the stand comes to confirm solidarity with the Palestinian people in facing the brutal aggression they are exposed to, while student Muhammad al-Kurdi from the Neirab camp praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of the Zionist killing machine.
From Yemen, Adel Al-Haddad of the Arab Students Union affirmed that the Palestinian issue was and will remain the central cause of the Arab and Islamic nations, and that the will and resistance of the Palestinian people will prevail in the face of the occupier.
