Several leaflets were distributed in Weilheim's gardens.
There were threats, insults and an excerpt from the Federal Archives on an old criminal case to be read.
A Weilheimer now filed a complaint.
Weilheim - It is curious what happened on the night of Friday, May 14th, on Saturday in the east of Weilheim.
There, leaflets were distributed in several of the residents' gardens.
However, they had nothing to do with the current corona pandemic, but with criminal proceedings from over 60 years ago.
Leaflets in several gardens: This is a criminal case from 60 years ago
As the Weilheim police station announced, the slips of paper contained an excerpt from the Federal Archives from a long-gone criminal case, as well as insults and threats.
The police could not say which criminal proceedings were involved.
Because at that time there were often other names for offenses.
The police were also unable to answer the threats and insults on the leaflets.
"That would be inspection of files in an ongoing criminal case," said the official when asked by the local newspaper.
There was obviously a mix-up in the flyer campaign on criminal proceedings
Because the person concerned, a 68-year-old from Weilheim, to whom the leaflets were apparently intended, filed a complaint against the unknown distributor. During the investigations of the officials it turned out that the man had absolutely nothing to do with the criminal case, which had been dealt with several decades ago, or even had anything to do with it. Apparently there was a mix-up with the creator of the leaflets. Because the 68-year-old Weilheimer and the accused of the criminal proceedings from then have the same name, according to the Weilheim police. She is now investigating because of coercion and insult. The slips of paper were seized for a technical investigation.
