A shooting broke out between four people this Wednesday morning, rue des Guayes, in Thorigny-sur-Marne.

Two men and a woman were injured, two of them seriously.

One of the perpetrators is still actively wanted by the police.

It is around 8 am on Wednesday when two men show up in front of a small house located on land occupied by sedentary travelers, on the edge of a field and woods.

It would seem, according to the first elements of the investigation, that they wanted to settle a dispute of a private nature with a couple.

It would be a matter of the heart.

The first shot was fired with a pump rifle in the direction of the occupant, aged 40, injured in the leg, while his companion, aged 47, was beaten.

The latter then grabs a hunting rifle and in turn fires in the direction of the two attackers.

One of them, aged 24, was hit.

The second, aged 44, - who is said to be the main perpetrator of the attack - fled on foot with the pump rifle, which was later found in the woods by the police.

A gendarmerie helicopter flies over the area

Immediately, it is the uproar of combat at the level of the rescue and the police.

The two men, more seriously injured, were transported - one by helicopter and the other by road - to the Parisian hospital of La Pitié-Salpêtrière and to that of Kremlin-Bicêtre (Val-de-Marne).

The woman is hospitalized in a hospital in Seine-et-Marne.

The judicial police of Meaux were seized of the investigation.

Many police officers, including those from the Lagny-sur-Marne agglomeration police station, immediately mobilized to try to stop the fugitive.

For the moment, he has not yet been arrested.

A gendarmerie helicopter has been flying over the area since this morning.

The college secured in the morning

This aerial surveillance of the area had the consequence of worrying some inhabitants of the town. Phone calls in social networks, relaying messages indicating the presence of an armed man in the city, the consequences were not long in coming. In the middle of the morning, the management of the college Le Moulin à vent, located a few hundred meters away, decided to play the card of maximum security. This did not prevent causing a great fright to students and parents.

“No containment plan has been triggered in the town. There was only the triggering of a particular safety plan, ”says Lauren Després, the city's first deputy mayor. At the end of the morning, information to reassure the population was relayed by the town hall: the fugitive is no longer armed. Reason why the lockout has been lifted.
