Vienna-Sana
Mikhail Ulyanov, head of the Russian delegation in the ongoing negotiations in Vienna, confirmed that clear progress had been made regarding the possibility of reviving the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and the major powers.
Russia Today quoted Ulyanov as saying at the conclusion of the fourth round of talks of the joint committee on the joint comprehensive action plan in the Austrian capital today that "the agreement is within reach," indicating that the joint committee confirmed that it would hold a new round of negotiations early next week.
Ulyanov also expressed his hope that the next meeting between Iran and the major powers would be final.
The political director of the European Union, Enrique Moura, confirmed earlier today that he is fully confident that there will be a final agreement to revive the nuclear agreement signed with Iran.
The talks resumed in Vienna on May 7 with the remaining parties to the agreement, namely Iran, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany.
