After about three weeks: The Temple Mount reopened to Jewish visitors
The compound, which allowed only Muslims to enter, even after the end of Ramadan, due to the security situation, was opened this morning for Jews to visit amid security tensions and a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
On the right, they greeted and called for an increased presence at the site: "An important step by the Prime Minister on the road to full Jewish rule on the mountain"

After about three weeks in which it was closed, the Temple Mount complex opened this morning (Sunday) to Jewish visitors.
The complex is closed for visits as every year in the last days of Ramadan, and entry is only allowed to Muslims.
But unlike previous years, the ban on Jews entering continued even after Eid al-Peter due to the security situation.
The permit comes against the background of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, and clashes that broke out on Friday between worshipers there and police forces.
According to police, hundreds of worshipers threw stones and threw Molotov cocktails at the forces.
Following this, the commander of the Jerusalem district, Superintendent Doron Turgeman, ordered entry into the plaza.
The policemen used demonstrations to dissipate, including shock grenades.

Chairman of Jewish Power MK Itamar Ben Gvir, who was one of the proponents of Jews entering the mountain, supported the decision and said that "this is an important step that the prime minister is leading and shows that Israel has not folded all its principles." "It is forbidden to pray in a public quorum, and the shortened hours for Jews to ascend the mountain, I call on the prime minister to equate the situation between Jews and Arabs on the mountain and prevent racism and inequality. It is not possible for the Jewish state to have racial rights.
The "Returning to the Mountain" movement said: "A little too late and too late, but this could be the first step in changing the attitude of laxity, to full Jewish rule on the Temple Mount, including the building of the Temple and the resumption of sacrificial work."
