A 21-year-old college student borrowed words to do a questionnaire survey. At the West Kowloon Centre near the Sham Shui Po Police Station, two female students aged 14 and 16 were picked up, and they were taken to the parking lot of a nearby housing estate to be indecent.

Inspector Kwan Ka-chi of Criminal Investigation Team, Sham Shui Po District, said that the police received a report in the afternoon of last Sunday (16th) that a strange man approached two female students aged 14 to 16 in the shopping mall of West Kowloon Centre. A questionnaire survey of borrowed words took the two girls to a dark corner of the parking lot in nearby Li'an Village, making indecent assaults and exchanging phone numbers with the two victims before leaving.
The two victims later reported to the police through their guardians.
Sham Shui Po Police District Criminal Investigation Team 6 took over the investigation and today (23) arrested a 21-year-old college student surnamed Huang for indecent assault at MTR Sham Shui Po Station.
During the house search, the police also seized the clothing that the suspect was wearing at the time of the crime. The man will be detained for investigation. The police seized the man's cell phone and computer.

Guan Jiaqi said that the two victims did not know the man before the incident. Investigations showed that the arrested man would not only be able to make friends with girls through social media and then meet again, but also would look for "prey" in places where many girls are haunted, such as shopping malls.
