India recorded 240,842 cases and 3,741 new deaths from the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
According to the latest data from the Indian Ministry of Health, the total number of HIV infections in the country reached 26 million and 530,132 cases, while the number of deaths reached 299,266 cases.
India is currently leading the world in the average daily number of deaths, as it alone records a third of the daily death toll in the world.
India ranks second in terms of the number of injuries in the world, after the United States and Brazil.
In Mexico, 2586 infections and 341 new deaths were recorded with the virus, bringing the total number of infections to two million and 395330 cases and deaths to 221597 cases.
The government said the actual number of injuries and deaths was likely much higher than the reported figures, while unofficial data indicated that the actual number of deaths was at least 60 percent higher than the official number.
In China, the National Health Committee recorded 19 new cases of Coronavirus, compared to 10 the previous day, noting that 18 of the new infections were imported from abroad.
Currently, the total number of confirmed cases of Covid 19 on the Chinese mainland is 90,973, while the number of deaths remains constant at 4,636 cases, according to the Indian Ministry of Health.
