Nantes: a police officer violently hit in the face in the parking lot of a police station

An armed man broke into the parking lot of a police station on Saturday evening, where he assaulted a police officer.


The facts took place around 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 22.

A policeman was returning to the Nantes police station when a man punched him violently in the jaw.

Armed with a kitchen knife and a cutter

The three policemen overpowered the man with difficulty before finding a kitchen knife on him.

According to local media, this is a 28-year-old Filipino national living in a hostel for young workers in Rezé, near Nantes.
