In support of the constitutional entitlement and affirming the importance of participating in the presidential elections, civil activities and national gatherings continue in the governorates, in which the participants affirm that their participation is a national duty for the Syrian force, preserving its unity, sovereignty, and fortifying it in the face of the forces of terrorism.

In Homs, thousands of students from Al-Baath University gathered in a gathering in the university square in support of the presidential elections, during which a number of students presented poems and patriotic songs.

Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Khatib, President of Al-Baath University, affirmed that the large student gathering is a sincere expression of the students' love for Syria and its army and their commitment to the election day, while Dr. Faiq Shaddud, the secretary of the university branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, explained that the students expressed their belonging to their country and their army and their support to participate in the elections.

In turn, Dr. Fadia Deeb, a member of the People's Assembly, said that participating in the elections is an important constitutional right and duty, and the Syrians will say their word on the twenty-sixth of this May, while Ammar Kaadi, a member of the Executive Office of the National Union of Syrian Students, head of the Central Organization Office, said that participation in the constitutional entitlement is a duty for the sake of Syria, its army and its martyrs. While each of the students, Zulfikar Hamdan, Abeer Esber, and Rabah Khansa, expressed their desire to participate in the elections and express their free and independent decision, stressing that terrorism did not deter them from continuing the march of science and building.

Feras Al-Salloum Al-Hadba, a member of the People's Assembly, indicated that the due date is a continuation of the army's victories, as the Syrians are the only ones who decide their future, while Sheikh Nader Matar Al-Nuaimi from the Al-Naim clan indicated that the great Syrian victory should be strengthened by actively participating in the elections, while Sheikh Jassim Al-Saleh from the Al-Aqeedat clan saw that Syria today With the completion of the elections on time, its national unity embodies the will of its people and delineates the bright future of Syria.

In Al-Sukhnah, civil activists and tribal leaders set up a Watan tent in Al-Aures neighborhood on Palmyra road in Homs, in the presence of a crowd of notables in Al-Sukhna and its vicinity.

Speeches were made that emphasized the importance of participating in the elections, as they guarantee the future of Syria, consolidate victories with the courage of our army and preserve our national unity.

Sheikh Faisal Al-Qatran, the sheikh of the Bani Durgham clan from Al-Sukhnah, confirmed the tribes ’participation in the elections and the choice of the Syrian captain who would lead them to safety.

The Homs Chamber of Industry and Commerce organized their activities in front of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce headquarters in the Naoura market in the city, in the presence of a crowd of economic activities in the governorate.

Iyad Darrak al-Sebaei, head of the Homs Chamber of Commerce, called on all Syrians to participate in the elections and choose the right candidate to lead Syria.

The civil societies in Homs organized a national gathering in support of the presidential elections and to continue hope and work with the civil effort in the courtyard of the Association of Deaf and Mute in Al-Waer neighborhood. A number of workers in civil and charitable initiatives and heads of associations expressed their determination to participate in the elections with all responsibility.

The western village of Al-Buwayda in the western countryside of Homs witnessed a national gathering during which the people confirmed their participation in the elections in order to preserve the security of Syria.

And in Daraa, the Daraa branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union held yesterday evening a varied artistic party in the Cultural Center hall in the city of Daraa in support of the presidential elections.

The speeches delivered at the ceremony emphasized the importance of participating in the elections so that the Syrians would have their say in choosing the most competent person to lead Syria.

The words stressed that participation is the duty of every Syrian, pointing out that all attempts to influence the decision of the people of Syria to participate have failed, and the elections abroad that took place amid a great turnout are the greatest evidence.

In the ceremony, singing and theatrical performances and folk arts performances from the heritage of Houran were presented, with the participation of the teams of the Union branch in the governorate and its affiliated youth associations.

In Lattakia, many displaced people from the Idlib Governorate in Lattakia expressed their support and support for the holding of the presidential elections, with the hopes that they represent to complete the liberation of what remains of the territories controlled by terrorist groups in the Syrian geography, especially Idlib.

People's Assembly member Wael Daly said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that holding the presidential elections on the constitutional date is an affirmation of the strength of the Syrian state with its army and people, hoping that this year will be the year of victory and liberation of Idlib governorate from the remaining abomination of terrorism.

In turn, Fatima Khamis, a member of the People's Assembly from Idlib governorate, said that the activities taking place in the squares are the greatest evidence of the loyalty of the Syrian people to their homeland and their army, and an affirmation of adherence to its independent decision.

In Tartous, the Tartous cycling team organized a cycling march from Tartous to Damascus, with the participation of about 27 professional, amateur and active cyclists of all ages.

The march, which is being held under the supervision of the Syrian Cycling Federation, started in front of the Tartous Governorate building to meet the Damascus Countryside Cycling Club at the entrance to the city of Damascus, to be its final stop when building the panorama.

In the same context, the National Student Union branch in Tartous set up a march this morning that toured a number of main streets in the governorate to the Corniche with the participation of cadres and students from Tartous University.

Hammam Kanaj, head of the Students' Union branch in the governorate, pointed out that the university's cadres and students confirmed their support for their homeland.
