Two people were killed and 12 others were injured in a shooting incident in the US state of New Jersey today.
The American Fox News network quoted the state police as saying, "The police received a report stating that a mass shooting took place at a house party that included about two hundred people in Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, southern New Jersey, killing two people, a man and a woman, and wounding 12 others, who were taken to the hospital for treatment. One of them is in critical condition. "
She added that the rest of the guests managed to escape amid the shooting and that investigations are underway to find out the circumstances of the accident.
Earlier today, three people were killed and five others were injured in a shooting attack in Youngstown, Ohio.
Shooting incidents are common in the United States with the spread of a culture of violence in American society and the right to possess individual weapons.
