National activities in support of the constitutional entitlement represented by the presidential elections on the twenty-sixth of May continue to continue in various governorates, emphasizing in their entirety the necessity of broad participation in them, complementing the victories of the Syrian Arab Army in its war on terrorism and selecting the most appropriate candidate to lead the country during the next stage.

In Homs, the Education Directorate has set up various cultural events to confirm the active participation of all educational cadres in the presidential elections and to ensure the continuation of the march of knowledge and work.

The Martyr Abdul Hamid Al-Zahrawi Theater witnessed a theatrical and lyrical performance, the first of its kind in Syria, to introduce and integrate the subject of music with philosophy, as it included the performance of the play "The Soul of Socrates", a mystical song by Nazik Al-Malaika, and the promo of the dance of the dervishes.

Kalima Al-Susu, director of philosophy in the upbringing of Homs and Wael Al-Yamani, who directs the music, explained that such actions are mainly included in support of the march of knowledge, simulating the modernized curricula of Syrian generations, and in support of active participation in the presidential elections.

The administration of Akrama Al-Makhzoumi School also revived an artistic festival during which the school children presented artistic performances to the rhythms of patriotic songs in the presence of a crowd of educators and parents in fulfillment of the blood of the school martyrs who died in the terrorist bombings during the war and the righteous martyrs of Syria. In As-Suwayda, the Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch held a sports festival in Al-Basel Hall in Mazraa Sports City in support of the presidential elections.

The festival included segments of football, basketball, volleyball, hand, karate, aerobics, kickboxing, gymnastics, and volleyball for special sports, a folk arts segment for the Shahrazad Division, and a board for the entry of wounded from the Syrian Arab Army and the governorate's heroes who achieved advanced positions at the level of Asia and the Arabs during 2019 and 2020.

The head of the Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch in As-Suwayda, Tariq Al-Afif, indicated in a speech that participation in the entitlement comes in fulfillment of the sacrifices and victories of our brave army, our righteous martyrs, and the steadfastness of the Syrian Arab people who defeated the conspiracy and safeguarded rights.

The champion, Loris Danon, the player of our national team in athletics, stated that the elections are the title of a new phase for the future of Syria and its return is stronger than it was, and an affirmation of the Syrians' determination to elect their president despite all the difficult circumstances and the unfair economic siege, while the coach and experience in karate, Marwan Zainuddin indicated that the elections will be held on time. A proof of victory for Syria and that its people are able to overcome all the adversities and challenges they face.

Trainer and judo expert Adham Kanaan said that participating in the presidential elections is a pride for athletes to prove their national affiliation and commitment to the constants they were brought up on, while sports expert Hamad Alwan said that participation is a duty for every Syrian and a message that the people of Syria of all sorts will participate widely in the elections to express their opinion and exercise their right. In the countryside of Hama, the civil and official activities organized mass rallies in the cities of Salamiyah, Halfaya and Masyaf, in addition to the villages and towns of Shaizar, Kafrhood, Sheikh Hadid, Maharda, Al-Sa`, and Ain Al-Krum.

In Al-Hasakah, a “homeland tent” was set up in the village of Al-Amiriyah in the Qamishli countryside, in support of the constitutional entitlement and stressing the need to participate in the presidential elections.

Sheikh Hussein Al-Haso, one of the sheikhs of the Al-Rashid clan, confirmed in a statement to SANA that the people of the village of Al-Amiriya from the Al-Rashed clan are determined to participate in the elections because they are the right of all the people of Syria and because the Syrians' will and insistence on life are stronger than all the puppet forces, pointing out that the Syrian people nowadays write a chapter New chapters of victory over enemies and a new phase of construction and reconstruction.

The participants in the tent from the people of the village of Amiriya chanted slogans saluting Syria, its army and its people, considering that participation in the elections is a continuation of the victories of their sons who are in the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army and loyalty to the blood of the martyrs.

The Hatem Al-Ta'i area presented to the Baath Vanguards in Qamishli a number of patriotic paintings in support of the presidential elections and an expression of the joy of the Syrian people for their victory over the terrorist war that targeted it for ten years.

And in Daraa, a popular gathering was held in Masmiya, and a gathering of faculty and students at the private Qassioun University on the Damascus Daraa highway.

The participants emphasized that holding the presidential elections on time is a new victory for Syria, adding to the victories of the Syrian Arab Army, noting that going to the polls is a right and a duty to thwart all plots targeting Syria.

The teaching staff and students affirmed that the National Merit is a political victory for the Syrian people, who will say their words in the ballot boxes, pointing out that participation in the elections is the best evidence of an independent Syrian decision.

The two students, Moaz Al-Awad and Jaafar Ismail, emphasized the importance of participating in the elections in loyalty to the blood of the martyrs and as a guarantee of the unity of Syria, while Mr. Hussam Al-Miqdad saw the elections as a sovereign decision that reflects the Syrians ’attachment to their land and their freedom.
