India recorded 222,835 new infections and 4,455 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours, according to the latest statistics from the US site, World Meters.
According to the site, the total number of cases of Coronavirus in India has so far reached 26751681 cases, and the total deaths reached 303751 cases.
India is currently leading the world in the average daily death toll, as it alone records a third of the daily death toll worldwide.
India ranks second in terms of the number of injuries in the world after the United States and third in terms of deaths, after the United States and Brazil.
