The prosecution decided to prosecute them, subject to a hearing.

At the same time, the district court rejected Refaeli's appeal against the assessment of the Assessing Officer that in 2009-2010 her center of life was in Israel, and as a result she was charged income tax on income in the amount of NIS 16 million in those years.

Refaeli appealed this ruling to the Supreme Court, and in a plea agreement with the prosecution it was agreed that Bar Refaeli would withdraw her appeal, and Tzipi Refaeli would go to jail for 16 months and Bar Refaeli would want nine months of service work, for each of which a fine of NIS 2.5 million would be imposed.

Tzipi Refaeli, the mother of model Bar Refaeli, was released today (Monday) from imprisonment in Neve Tirza prison - after eight months.

Refaeli was sentenced to 16 months in prison after being convicted in her daughter's tax offenses case.

Refaeli's early release comes after the Prisoners' Relief Committee agreed last month to reduce her sentence, and she was released under restrictive conditions that will include a duty to report to the police once every two weeks, volunteering twice a week at the Alor Ma'aleh Center, which helps autistic children and teenagers. Night from 22:00 to 06:00.

Tzipi Refaeli and her daughter began being questioned by the tax authority in December 2015, on suspicion that Shebar Refaeli received "celeb discounts" and did not pay tax on them, and on suspicion that she misrepresented that her center of life was not in Israel, with the aim of evading income tax on work outside Israel.
