Last Monday, at the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, Sorita, one of the two bears released in 2018, made a historic appearance.
For two reasons: she was filmed with her three cubs, which are the first known litter of this year, and the little family was seen in Haute-Garonne, the department where the Slovenian female Zira discovered the Pyrenees there is exactly twenty-five years.
With her then began the reintroduction of the brown bear in these mountains which connect France, Spain and Andorra.
