The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, affirmed that the 25th of May is a national milestone that the Lebanese achieved through their resistance, steadfastness and sacrifices, which is a date gathering in one day.
Berri said in a speech today on the occasion of the twenty-first anniversary of the Resistance and Liberation Day, “We should have looked through this anniversary in what befits the May 25 station, not in the way we are and in it today ... a country in which some people, intentionally or unintentionally, deliberately. Mastery in making crises, which if one continues to reproduce from the womb of the other, will overthrow all achievements.
Berri called on everyone in Lebanon to feel the seriousness of the current and fateful stage that threatens Lebanon and the Lebanese in their existence, and to draw lessons and lessons that made and accomplished victory and liberate Lebanon from the aggression of the Israeli occupation, and to evoke the spirituality and values of liberation in order to restore Lebanon from collapse and complete its liberation from the "selfishness that some intend on." .
Berri called for liberation from "the monopolists, the liberation of the judiciary from political interference, the activation of supervisory bodies and the law of plundering public funds, starting with the Banque du Liban and reaching all administrations, especially Lebanon Electricity."
Berri praised the recent victory of the Palestinian resistance in facing the Israeli aggression.
Adding, "They proved to the world that the Palestinian geography has become the size of the universe and that whoever has a determination like Gaza and the Jerusalemites and steadfastly the sons of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood is inevitably victorious and that the Palestinian dream of return, liberation and the establishment of an independent state with honorable Jerusalem as its capital is just around the corner ... They see it far and we see it with the arms of the resistance fighters soon “.
In turn, the Lebanese People's Congress affirmed in a statement on the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day that the holiday in Lebanon coincides this year with the breakdown of the aggression in Palestine, providing evidence and witness that the Zionist enemy only understands the language of strength, resistance and steadfastness in the face of aggression.
The Nation Movement in Lebanon also stressed that the Lebanese National Resistance had created, by its victory over the Israeli enemy, equations and a pioneering experience in the liberation struggle, pointing out that thanks to the valiant Lebanese resistance, the southern Lebanese border villages became secure and reassuring, and the enemy became concerned about a southern peasant and Lebanon became reassured about the deterrence force that Laid down by the resistance fighters.
