As the police announced on Monday, the accident occurred on Friday around 4.30 p.m. on State Road 2072 between Geretsried and Einöd.
A 31-year-old woman from Munich rode her racing bike down the Peretshofen mountain.
When crossing the state road, she overlooked a motorcyclist (26) from Olching coming from the left.
Both parties suffered serious injuries in the collision.
The motorcyclist had to be flown with the rescue helicopter to the accident clinic in Murnau.
The state road was completely closed for three quarters of an hour, the traffic was diverted by the fire brigade.
