People's Assembly Speaker Hammouda Sabbagh affirmed that Palestine will remain the central Syrian issue that it will defend with full force until the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
Sabbagh said in a speech distributed to the attendees during the fourth extraordinary meeting of the Permanent Committee of Palestine of the Federation of Councils of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the Iranian capital, Tehran: The Palestinian people are living the bitterness of killing, displacement and displacement in one of the worst tragedies of modern history under the Israeli occupation supported by those who claim democracy And defend human rights they are far from it.
Sabbagh indicated that the resistance and the mythic resistance of Palestinian men, youth, children and women in the face of the system of murder and bloody Zionist crimes is a great model in the heroism in order to achieve victory and liberation, no matter how severe the pain and pain.
Sabbagh pointed out that the bloody Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people and the systematic destruction of the basic and essential infrastructure and services shows to the world that our battle with the Zionist enemy and its supporters is a battle of existence and survival, stressing that the truth will return to its companions and that the fate of the invaders and aggressors is in the dustbin of history and the fate of the resisters is eternity in its pages.
Sabbagh added: We must all in the Union of Councils of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation stand by Palestine and its people, defend it and provide all possible means of support to strengthen its steadfastness, and do everything we can individually and collectively to communicate with regional and international councils and unions to put pressure on the brutal Zionist entity to immediately stop its bloody crimes and settlement plans. Sabbagh affirmed that Syria was and still is one of the first countries that stood by the Palestinian people, supported its cause and steadfastness, and extended a helping hand to it in all fields because its case is a Syrian issue, and that our belief is absolute in the inevitability of returning the right to its true owners, no matter how long or short the time.
Sabbagh pointed out that the unjust wars that Syria witnessed over the last ten years that destroyed people and stones, and the unjust economic measures that accompanied them and the suffocating sieges that followed that included all aspects of life and reached health, bread and medicine as a result of its standing with Palestine. And its people, stressing that Palestine will remain the central cause of Syria, defending it with full force until the aspiration for the establishment of an independent Palestine, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, is achieved.
Sabbagh directed to our people in Palestine, saying: We are with you, and we and you are one people, so our enemy is one, our destiny is one, our battle is one, and we have won one, and Jerusalem will remain the flower of cities and the capital of the noble Palestine.
Today, in the Iranian capital, Tehran, the fourth extraordinary meeting of the Permanent Committee of Palestine of the Federation of Councils of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation began under the title “Jerusalem, a symbol of unity and victory,” with the participation of delegations from a number of Islamic countries, including a delegation from the Syrian People’s Assembly headed by Deputy Speaker Muhammad Akram Ajlani and it also includes Maysa Salih, Secretary of the Council and its Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Yahya Sheikho, in the presence of the Syrian Ambassador to Tehran, Dr. Shafiq Dayoub.
