A number of women considered that participating in the presidential elections scheduled for the twenty-sixth of this month is an additional step to build the future of Syria, stressing that they will choose the candidate who will work to support women, enhance their social, economic and political role and develop Syria in various fields.

The young woman, Jalnar Ibrahim, an engineering student, told SANA's correspondence the importance of youth participation in the presidential elections because the young generation is an essential element in society and must have an active role, noting that holding the elections on the scheduled date is part of the Syrians ’life that has not stopped or been disrupted despite the terrorist war and economic blockade On the Syrian people.

Ibrahim added that her choice of the country's next president expresses her desire to lead Syria by a president who achieves the goals of the young generation in development and progress at the scientific and economic level, noting that Syria possesses creative human capabilities and cadres that need to be optimally invested.

Mrs. Mays Dahman, who works in the field of industry and trade, pointed out that participating in the presidential elections and going to the polls on the 26th of this May is very important for all segments of society, especially since Syria is going through difficult economic siege conditions, and all people must join hands and contribute to building the future of Syria.

The young woman, Raneem Qutaish, a student at the Faculty of Economics, confirmed that the presidential elections are an important event for the Syrians, and it is a sovereign decision, noting that the voice of every Syrian citizen represents one of the episodes of victory that Syria wrote with the blood of its martyrs.

For her part, Alaa Yassin Al-Saadi, a student at the Faculty of Law, explained the importance of participating in the elections for the sake of the country, the future and future generations, considering that holding the elections on time confirms the strength of the Syrians and their determination to move forward in life.
