With the participation of more than 300 local and foreign companies, the activities of the Syrian exhibitions specialized in construction, industry, water, electricity and renewable energy were launched today in the exhibition city on the road to Damascus International Airport.

Syria’s specialized exhibitions, organized by the Tayara Foundation for International Exhibitions and Conferences, in cooperation with the Ministries of Industry, Public Works and Housing, with support from the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, the Syndicate of Engineers, the Chamber of Industry and its countryside include the Syrian International Exhibition for Building, Construction and Infrastructure “Tank Building” and the Syrian Exhibition for Electromechanical, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation. Syria Map, the Syrian International Industrial Exhibition, "SYNEX" for industrial machinery and equipment, production lines, packaging and plastic, "Syria Energy" pavilion for energy, electricity and industrial automation, and "WATEX" pavilion for water works.

The Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdul Latif, told reporters that the exhibitions come within the framework of the government's endeavor to prepare for the reconstruction phase and lay a suitable ground for its launch, pointing to the great diversity in the specializations of local Syrian companies and companies of friendly countries, especially Iranian companies that will be partners in the reconstruction and construction operations. In his opinion, Minister of Industry Ziyad Al-Sabbagh referred to the importance of exhibitions in introducing consumers to national products or products of friendly countries, which indicate the start of the recovery phase of the Syrian industry as it enters the markets in all its fields, pointing to the urgent need for these companies to contribute to the development of the industrial and construction sectors.

For his part, the Iranian ambassador in Damascus, Mahdi Sobhani, indicated that the participation of 34 Iranian companies in this exhibition is the best evidence of the great desire of Iranian companies to be present in the Syrian market and contribute to the reconstruction phase and achieve economic development in Syria.

In turn, the director general of the organization organizing the exhibition, Muwaffaq Tayyara, explained in a statement to SANA that the diversity and plurality of specializations in the specializations of the exhibitions meet the needs of the reconstruction phase in Syria in the sectors of industry, construction, electricity and water in addition to that it enables the participating companies to promote their business, products and projects, pointing out to an invitation to more One hundred businessmen from Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran.

For his part, General Manager of the General Company for the Industry of Cables in Damascus, Abdul Qadir Al-Qaddour, referred to the company's participation in the exhibition in the framework of displaying its high-quality products, enhancing its marketing locally, and contributing to the reconstruction and reconstruction stage.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition visit times extend from four o'clock in the afternoon until ten in the evening, with free public transport available from four staging centers in the President’s Bridge, Bab Touma, Bab Musalla and Jaramana to the Exhibition City.
