In ten days, the HMOs will begin vaccinating teens aged 15-12 against Corona, about six months after the vaccination campaign among adults began.

The Ministry of Health's approval of the move depends on a test that is expected to be completed in the coming days regarding the link between vaccines and myocarditis, but it can already be said that there are a few cases that experienced the inflammation, and these cases were also experienced very easily.

The Vaccines Committee has had a very long discussion on the question of recommending citizens to vaccinate their children, as was done with the adult vaccine, or just to open the vaccines to these ages.

At the hearing, a majority of the committee members chose to vote in favor of the recommendation, but no official decision has yet been made.

Senior officials in the ministry believe that the delay around the decision causes public fear and suspicion of vaccination, and that a decision needs to be made in the coming days.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the children's vaccine two weeks ago, and as a result, thousands of children have already been vaccinated in the United States.

The Ministry of Health expects that there will not be as high a response as in the adult vaccine, but they do aim to reach at least 40%.

As a result, the ministry will begin a survey examining the long-term effects of children recovering from coronary heart disease, some of whom suffer from muscle aches and heart problems, in order to reflect to parents the dangers of contracting the virus, compared to the vaccine that has already been shown to be effective and safe.

According to the Ministry of Health, this age group was most widely infected in Corona, but also recovered without the development of a serious illness.

Another discussion held at the Ministry of Health is how to implement the current vaccination campaign.

At first, they thought of vaccinating the teenagers in schools, such as measles vaccines, in order to make it easier for parents not to have to go to the box office with their children.

However, the low morbidity indices caused them to change their minds because there is no urgency to produce a new array over the array of the funds.

The vaccines will be given at the health funds, not at the schools.

The discussion raised the idea of vaccinating the first dose in schools and the second dose in the health insurance funds, but this was dropped for fear that it would cause confusion, as happened with the adult vaccines due to confusion between the hospitals and the health insurance funds.

Here, too, the decision has not yet been finally made, but senior ministry officials tend to continue the vaccinations at the HMOs.
