The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health announced today that there were two new confirmed cases today, including a 37-year-old Filipino domestic helper (case number: 11836) who arrived in Hong Kong from the Philippines on March 20 and was in Hong Kong from March 20 to April 10. After the quarantine was completed, he lived in the employer's residence in Heliao Village, Dadong, Ma'anshan.

The patient is asymptomatic and tested positive for antibodies after admission.

The confirmed case was a construction worker who worked at the main tunnel and related works of the Lam Tin Tunnel in Tseung Kwan O (contract number: NE/2015/01).

He was tested at the community testing center on May 9 and the result was negative, and then on May 23 at the community testing center in Wai Tsuen Stadium in Tsuen Wan for regular testing and confirmed. He was asymptomatic.

The Department of Health stated that his CT value was greater than 30, and the test results of the mutant virus strain are still to be determined.
