- The helpers of the police and the fire brigade were presented with a picture of devastation late on Sunday evening in Feldafing: A Fiat 500 lying on its side hit the roof of a VW Golf. The front window of the Fiat was smashed, the roof frame totally bent. The bonnet of the Golf was badly dented - which can happen when one car apparently drives onto the other without braking. The particularly dangerous thing in this case: According to the police, there were seven young people aged 17 to 19 in the Fiat, which can also be driven by 16-year-olds due to a conversion. The Fiat, which has been converted into a three-wheeler, is only approved for four people. His 17-year-old driver is considered to be the cause of the accident by the police. According to the Starnberg officials, he was drunk, as were some of his passengers.

The cause and the course of the accident are absolutely unclear at the moment. The collision occurred at the junction of Johann-Biersack-Straße / Pöckinger Straße. The emergency call at 10:47 p.m. transmitted the information "Traffic accident involving several cars, people trapped". Fortunately, the latter turned out to be incorrect. The Feldafing First Responders and the head of operations, Feldafing's Commander Dirk Schiecke, were the first to arrive at the scene of the accident and immediately gave the all-clear that no one was trapped any more. However, there were plenty of injuries. According to the police, everyone involved in the accident - both the 52-year-old Golf driver from the Landsberg district and the seven Fiat occupants - suffered at least one shock, abrasions or bruises. The Fiat driver came to the hospital with a backache,one of his passengers had broken his leg, according to the police.

Most of the young people had already left the scene of the accident before the helpers arrived - presumably out of fear of the consequences of the totally overloaded vehicle. This presented the helpers with massive problems. "Since the damage to the vehicles suggested more serious injuries, the descendants were searched for with a large number of rescue workers," reports the Feldafing fire brigade on their Facebook page. According to Schiecke, the search took more than an hour. The Pöcking and Tutzing fire brigades were already there, and the Oberpfaffenhofen fire brigade also supported the emergency services in their search for the six young people with their drone, which has a thermal imaging camera."With the help of the aerial photos and various foot troops, all people in the Feldafing area and in the area of ​​the Gallerberg could be located," said the Feldafing helpers. The young people were handed over to the ambulance service for medical care.

The deployment for fire brigades, district fire inspection, BRK and police lasted about two and a half hours.

During this time, the scene of the accident was completely closed.

The Red Cross alone was on site with six ambulances and three ambulances.
