The presidents of Argentina and Mexico, Alberto Fernández and Andrés Manuel López Obrador, announced the start of the distribution of AstraZeneca vaccines against covid-19.
Mexico will deliver 800,000 vaccines to Argentina and another 800,000 will remain in the country.
Fernández and AMLO assured that the vaccines produced will also help countries in Latin America that do not have enough vaccines.
"With this announcement we are being more independent, Mexico, Argentina and Latin America," said Fernández.
