At 1:6 pm today (25th), the police received a report that a 58-year-old worker surnamed Su fell into a coma while tearing down a tin roof canopy at a construction site near Ha Che Village on Fan Kam Road in Pat Heung.

An ambulance arrived and sent the male victim to Pok Oi Hospital for treatment, but he was certified dead after the rescue.

Initial investigations by the police revealed that the male victim was suspected of falling to the ground in an accident while carrying out works on a container about 5 to 6 meters high. The case was classified as a fatal industrial accident.
