The 2021 budget for the municipality of Ingenried is in place: the 210-page financial work was unanimously approved by the municipal councils at the latest meeting.
This year, too, it provides for some major investments.

- "Despite Corona, we do not have any great drops in trade tax", stated Andrea Sepp, Treasurer of the Administrative Association Altenstadt, before she went through the budget page by page with the Ingenried municipal councils.
So the current plan is also a solid one, albeit with a more cautious investment approach.
"But that is actually always the case," explained Mayor Georg Saur, because: "It gets tight every year, so we have to juggle and balance."
Total volume of just under 3.5 million euros
The budget for the current year has a total volume of almost 3.5 million euros.
Divided into income and expenditure in the administrative budget of almost 2.3 million euros - that is almost five percent more than in the previous year - and in the asset budget with 1.2 million euros (minus 13 percent compared to the 2020 approach).
But despite the minus, large investments are planned in the asset budget: The largest item here is the acquisition of building land with a good half a million euros.
This is followed by a deposit of 100,000 euros for a new fire engine for the Ingenried volunteer fire brigade.
But according to the financial plan, which contains the expected expenses for the next three years, this is just the beginning.
A further 350,000 euros are planned for this as early as 2022.
More investments in the new year
This financial plan also shows that more investments are planned again from next year, namely over 1.4 million euros.
Among other things, for the renovations in the rooms above the village shop, for the sewage disposal and for the municipal roads.
But back to the current budget: A major item in this, at 80,000 euros, is the expansion of the St. Georg kindergarten, which has already been largely completed.
In addition, money is being taken into hand for the Ingenried village park, namely 20,000 euros, as well as for road construction (15,000 euros), the dirt roads (10,000 euros) and the water supply (almost 70,000 euros).
Even at the end of the year there should still be money
This budget, which, according to the town hall chief Saur, was calculated in such a way “that one is not incapable of acting even at the end of the year”, was approved by all of the local councils.
That should have made the audience around Markus Hack happy in advance.
Because the latter had submitted a grant application for an electronic shooting range for the shooting club "Alpenblick" at the most recent meeting.
And the budget that was passed shortly beforehand already contained an item worth 18,000 euros.
"The current system is from 1979," said Mayor Saur.
That would mean that "a modernization would be on the way anyway".
The total costs for the new system amount to a good 30,000 euros.
The Schützenbund pays 9,000 euros of this, and a private donor has added 2,500 euros.
With a contribution from Ingenrieder Schützen of 5,700 euros, the community still has 13,000 euros.
The municipal council unanimously approved this proposal.
Contract for the Schützenheim
In addition, a leasing contract for the shooting club was concluded with the shooters.
“We were shocked to see that there was no contract at all,” explained the mayor.
However, this is also urgently needed with regard to requests for subsidies.
The new contract is valid for the next 25 years.
